Frequently Asked Questions

What is OSOS? How can I access my OSOS Password?

OSOS (Automatic Meter Reading System): It is the monitoring of data from a single center by making the electricity meters used for measurement on the consumer side suitable for remote communication. Subscribers whose meters are read remotely within the scope of the OSOS system are required to obtain a user code and password in order to follow the data of their meters over the internet. You must request the OSOS username and password from the OSOS unit of your distribution region via e-mail or personal application.

If your installation does not reach the OSOS annual consumption upper limit of your distribution region, you can still use Apollo. We provide services to monitor energy and reduce consumption costs through a modem we will install on your main meter

Yes, Apollo is a B2B SaaS platform and its pricing policies are based on a monthly rental fee for single installation. You can access the current price list on our website.

Apollo allows consumption monitoring via its interface by integrating periodically received reading data from your main meter. Based on your main meter data, you can track instant consumption data, daily and monthly consumption data and estimated consumption value for the current month on Apollo. You can export this data in Excel format by filtering the date in hourly, daily and monthly options, in the intervals you want.

You can gain cost advantage by arranging your shifts or active production hours with forward-looking consumption forecasts supported by artificial intelligence algorithms.

Another area where Apollo benefits its users is tariff optimization. If you see that you have a double term advantage in Apollo, which draws you a road map for the most advantageous tariff for your installation, you should initiate a request process with the distribution region where you receive service.

You must determine the contract strength appropriate to your installation and submit your petition to switch to dual term conversion to your distribution region.

The penalty applied when power is drawn from the system above the specified inductive reactive power level or when capacitive reactive power is given to the system above a certain level is called reactive penalty. When the inductive limits exceed the 20% upper limit or the capacitive limit exceeds the 15% upper limit, reactive distortions will occur in the compensation panel and the installation will begin to be penalized. In this case, it is necessary to intervene in the compensation panel and bring the values to a stable position.

The methods to be followed to recover the incorrectly calculated invoice amount are as follows;

  • First of all, you must make sure that the distribution and retail contract information is entered correctly. Apollo calculates your bill with your hourly consumption and contract information entered into the portal. Ensure that both retail and distribution contracts for the relevant month are correct. Check variables such as profit margin, Yekdem calculation, invoice due date, double term contract strength, BTV rate from your contract information.

  • You should check the invoice items. If you are sure that your contract information is correct, identify the differences between the invoice calculated by Apollo and the invoice your retail company issues to you. Some suppliers may also add the distribution cost to your unit price calculation. In this case, you will not see the distribution fee amount on your invoice. Add the active energy cost and distribution fee calculated by Apollo and compare it with your supplier's energy fee.

  • You should contact your retail company (supplier). If you detect a difference in your invoice items, you can contact your retail company and request a detailed hourly invoice calculation for the relevant month. They will send you a calculation in Excel format. Check the differences by comparing this calculation to Apollo's calculation Excel.

  • You must request offset. If there is a difference of more than 1% between the detailed invoice calculation excel sent to you and Apollo, you can request an explanation of this difference from your retail company. If your hourly consumption and active unit prices match, additional items may have been reflected, and you can question whether these items are against your contract terms. At the end of all these processes, if you find that your invoice was issued incorrectly, you can request re-invoicing from your retail company.

You can see whether you have been penalized in the current month on the Reactive Penalty card on the Quick View page when you log in to the Apollo Digital Energy Platform. Or you can monitor your reagent status in detail from the compensation tab under the Consumption page. Additionally, as the inductive and capacitive limits approach the upper limits, Apollo's early warning system will be activated and your installation will notify you without being penalized.
