Countdown to Antalya
Ahead of COP31 in Antalya, we unpack what has been settled, what is still on the negotiating table and what the outcomes could mean for companies. With a live Q&A.
What we will cover
COP31 convenes in Antalya, Türkiye, on 9–20 November 2026. Türkiye holds the COP Presidency while Australia leads the negotiations. As the Paris Agreement cycle shifts from pledges to implementation, Antalya is where the next concrete steps will be negotiated.
In this session we separate what has been settled ahead of the summit from what is still open. We then look at how the decisions expected in Antalya could feed into companies' energy, cost and carbon management.
The Presidency sits with Türkiye, the negotiations with Australia. We separate the issues that are settled from the open questions and look at how this shared model shapes decision-making.
Türkiye is hosting a climate summit for the first time. The priorities set out by the COP31 Presidency and an Action Agenda in which electrification takes centre stage.
Climate finance, adaptation, the transition away from fossil fuels and carbon markets. The positions coming to the table and the outcomes expected from Antalya on each.
How negotiation outcomes could filter into companies' strategy, financing and communications priorities. The session closes with a live Q&A.
